Digital learning today can be defined as learning facilitated by the effective utilization of diverse digital technologies, encompassing a broad spectrum of formal, informal, and non-formal practices, educational contexts, and formats such as online, electronic, hybrid learning and instruction (Peycheva-Forsyth, 2022). This article examines the modern digital learning practices that shape the complex and multifaceted nature of its design to serve as a reference base in the design of digital learning, both for the designers themselves and various stakeholders in the field of education, institutions, and business.
