Pedagogy internship practice in views of students, mentoring teachers and lecturers

Abstract

The new Law on Pre-school and School Education and subsequent Instruction No. 12 of 01.09.2016 on the Status and Professional Development of Teachers, Directors, and Other Pedagogical Specialists required changes in the way pre-gradual internship practice for students at the "Pedagogy" specialty at the Faculty of Pedagogy at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is implemented and evaluated. In the academic year 2017/2018, a portfolio was developed according to the new requirements. The aim of the present study is to reveal opinions of trainee teachers, mentor teachers, and lecturers who participated in the examination committees for the academic preparation, organization, and conduct of the state-required practice.
