Мотивационно интервюиране в социалната работа по случай
Абстракт
The following paper presents ideas, principles and the spirit of motivational interviewing. Although this method for enhancing motivation for healthy behavior change acquires specific proficiency and should not be viewed as a technique or trick, it can be successfully integrated in the social case work as a communicative strategy for cases where the positive behavior change is main purpose of the intervention. A case study from the social work practice is examined to illustrate the process of eliciting and strengthening motivation for change – develop discrepancy, roll with resistance and support self-efficacy. Particular intervention tools are described in this paper because they are considered being useful for the main goal of the intervention – achieving natural change, fully understood and accepted by the individual.
