Die Botaniker und „Alpinum-Gärtner“ Johann Kellerer (1859-1938) und Josef Zollikofer (1891-1953) - als Königliche Hofgärtner im Dienst des Bulgarischen Zarenhauses

Абстракт

During regency of Ferdinand I. and Boris III. famous alpine rock gardens
were founded by Johann Kellerer and his successor Josef Zollikofer near all royal residencies in Bulgaria. These rock gardens of high standard and rich plant diversity were adequate to similar gardens in the alps or in botanical gardens of Paris, London or Berlin. Life’s work of two outstanding pioneers of gardening with alpine plants and profound knowledge of all Bulgarian mountain regions is extensively presented.
