The importance of human resources development for the strategic management of school organizations

Abstract

This paper examines the role of human resources development for their strategic management. An attempt has been made to reveal the essence of human resources, the historical dynamics of the views on their development, the characteristics of human resources development, its scope, the role of human capital theory as a basis for the development of human resources. The paper also analyzes the impact of the main problems in the secondary education system on the human resources management at school as well as the main ways of influencing the human resources development on their strategic management - knowledge management, career development, talent management, performance management and etc.
