Developing intercultural competence: intercultural competence models in school environment

The present paper analyses the most popular among the multitude of intercultural competence models in terms of their suitability for inclusion in school environment with the aim of developing intercultural competence, as part of a literature review. Key concepts facilitating the development of intercultural competence are also presented, as well as the possibility of their integration in the language education curriculum.
