The principle of equality in the European Union law – short overview

Abstract

The principle of equality has a comprehensive manifestation in the law of the European Union. The current study has several tasks: to provide an overview of the historical development of the idea of equality; to trace the emergence and development of the principle of equality in European Union law through primary law, secondary legislation and analyze the practical aspects of this principle in the case-law of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
