Alumni of the Department of Library Science, Scientific Information and Cultural Policy: Data Analysis for the Period 2018/2019–2022/2023 academic years

Abstract

In order to create effective connections and communication between alumni, current students and employers, the Department maintains “Alumni” databases for its specialties – Library and Information Sciences and Public Information Systems. Data such as major, educational degree and year of graduation, master’s program and references to it, level of satisfaction with training, professional realization, workplace and position, as well as names and contacts, are collected by filling in an online survey card at the time of successful completion – thesis defense or state exam. The article presents an analysis of the data for a five-year period – from 2018/2019 to 2022/2023 school years.
