HOW TO UNDERSTAND VALUES

Abstract

Values play a key role in human life – being – activity. They are an integral part of the human way of mastering reality. Their research is a persevering tradition - many results have been accumulated. At the same time, researches are – as a rule – disciplinary and contextually limited. The text attempts to summarize the results of a study of values based on various research optics. The aim is to achieve a more comprehensive and systematic knowledge. The summary is presented through a glossary of terms that steer to a wealth of possible reflections on values.
