Annual of the Faculty of Philosophy – Library and Information Science

This template outlines the recommended structure and formatting of manuscripts submitted to the journal. Please follow these guidelines carefully.

1. Basic Information

Title: Centered, uppercase. Font: Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold.

Authors: Full names, centered. Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.

2. Abstract and Keywords (in Bulgarian)

Abstract: 100–150 words, structured and clear. Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt, justified.

Keywords: 5 to 7, listed after the abstract.

3. Abstract and Keywords (in English)

English Title and Authors: Full translation of names and title.

Abstract: Accurate English translation of the Bulgarian abstract.

Keywords: Translation of the Bulgarian keywords.

4. Structure of the Main Text

Suggested sections: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.

Section headings: Uppercase, 12 pt.

Subheadings: Italic, sentence case.

5. Figures and Tables

Figures: Centered with captions below. Font for captions: Times New Roman, 10 pt.

Tables: Titles placed above the table. Table text: Times New Roman, 10 pt.

6. Citation and References

In-text citations: Use footnotes, formatted according to ISO 690:2021.

Cited Sources: List at the end, alphabetically – first Cyrillic, then Latin.

REFERENCES: Cyrillic sources must be transliterated according to Bulgarian law. Latin sources remain unchanged.

7. Technical Requirements

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.

Spacing: 1.5

Alignment: Justified

Length: Up to 20 standard pages

File format: .doc or .docx

8. Submission

Manuscripts are submitted through the OJS platform. Author and affiliation details must be entered separately in the user profile.
