Study of the impact of the introduction of an integrated information system in the social assistance directorates on the working conditions of social workers

Abstract

This paper presents study examines the issue of working conditions in the Social Assistance Directorates (SADs) and its relation to the job design. The concept of working conditions is analyzed as one of the elements and determinants of the job design. An overview of the main nonnative documents regulating the working conditions in our country and their application in the SADs is made. Results of an empirical survey among social workers from Social Assistance Directorates are presented to study the impact of introducing an integrated infonnation system (IIS) in the SADs on the working conditions of social workers. The positive and negative impacts of the implemented IIS on the efficiency of the work of social workers in the three departments of the SADs have been outlined.
