Juvenile offenders – between the conflict with the law and career choice

Abstract

This paper examines the problem of vocational guidance and counseling of juvenile offenders. A theoretical analysis of adolescence and deviant behavior during adolescence is carried out and a definition of antisocial behavior is proposed. Developed is the idea about the role of vocational guidance and counseling as a mechanism to prevent deviant behavior. Results from a representative survey among experts from the Local Commissions on Juvenile Delinquency are discussed.
