Beneficiaries of the social projects as resources: attitudes and practices in bulgarian background

Abstract

This paper presents the results of the empirical research conducted between February of 2010 – May 2013. Participated in the study a total 112 beneficiaries and 22 social workers. The aim of the study was to verify the validity of the following research hypothesis: "If you extend the range of roles through which legitimate beneficiaries of social projects and thus they function not only as users of project support, but also as an active project subject and resources, it will increase the subjective willingness of customers to multifacet cooperation with specialists in social projects and will provide for higher their individual motivation to participate, and hence better results." The final results confirmed the hypothesis and enabled to make insights and recommendations related to the implementation on the territory of Bulgaria social projects.
