Educational policies of the member states in the European union and their impact on the professional-pedagogical training of teachers

Abstract

The article presents the results of a conducted research, the purpose of which is to establish trends in the current educational policies of the member states of the European Union and analyze their impact on the professional-pedagogical training of future teachers. There are three main directions within the framework of the study, which at the same time are indicators for carrying out the analysis: current policies and norm-making in professional-pedagogical training; current policies and norm-making in the field of higher education; current policies and legislation in the field of compulsory education. The research is based on an analysis of national regulatory documents (156 in total) and information presented on the website of the European Commission in the field of education for each member state of the European Union.
