OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVING THE PRACTICAL TRAINING OF SOCIAL EDUCATORS

The practical training of students of pedagogical specialties is one of the most essential stages in their education. The main task of practical training is to provide space and opportunity for students to integrate theory, acquire practical skills and attitudes for social pedagogical work. Therefore, the organization and conduct of practical training is a responsible task for all parties involved in it – supervisors, students, specialists. The present paper discusses the organizational dimensions of practical training of students of the Bachelor’s degree program “Social Pedagogy” in the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, as well as the results of a research based on which the main challenges and directions for the development of practical training of future specialists are highlighted.
