Stress and anxiety for students during online learning

Abstract

The article provides a theoretical overview of the topic of stress. The first part discusses definitions of the term in the past and to this day. Then the importance of personal characteristics in its perception and choice of coping strategies is considered. The connections of stress with emotions are analyzed, as well as their influence on somatic diseases. The last part of the text presents the results of a survey aimed at examining the impact of online learning in the last academic year on the emotional and physical condition of students from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
