An attempt has been made in this study to trace the process of activation of the creative activities of the Bulgarian writers during the period of peaceful development of the revolutionary process and the struggle against the opposition. The role of the BWP(c) is shown in the background of the Fint National Conference of the Bulgarian writers in September 1945.
Special attention is paid to the successes in the field of transformation and the literary process.
The negative stand of the political opposition on the problems related to the transformation of the Bulgarian literature is followed in the study. A point is made to show the ideological evolution of the majority of the writers towards the method of socialist realism and Marxist-Leninist principles. The study concludes with a general assessment of the activation of the creative efforts of the writers during the period.
