An Empirical Research on the Historical Consciousness of Contemporary Generations in Bulgaria, 1993

The general results of the inquiry investigation of the historical consciousness аrе presented. It was realized as an sample quotation in the regions of Sofia, Haskovo, Stara Zagora аnd Varna. An original method with а 48 items questionnaire аnd а 6 stage scale was used. The results concern conseqttences for history didacties recovering implicit functions of historical consciousness. Dependences on different factors were studied such as stage of edducation, age, social state аnd property. Оnе can obtain а nеw kind of view on the principles of forming and functioning of the historical consciousness with the use of empirical and quantitative methods.
