Abstract

In vol. 76, no. 2, the valuable dissertation of the archaeologist Bogdan Sultov on the ancient ceramic production centres in the region of the ancient city of Nicopolis ad Istrum is published. It consists of three chapters providing a detailed analysis of the technology of ceramic production, which proves to be exceptionally rich and diverse. The illustrations are numerous, detailed, and executed with great precision. The text is written in English.
