Modern and Contemporary World History
The Annual publishes articles and studies that offer the author's original reading of various aspects (political, diplomatic, economic, military, social and cultural) of European and world history in the broad time frames from the 15th to the beginning of the 21st century. They can analyze and evaluate both stages of the development of leading historical processes in both eras, as well as specific problems of regional and even local importance. With particular interest, academically sound texts are accepted which: raise discussion topics and pose problems of a theoretical and historiographical nature; consider the role of ideas and personalities in history; argue objective scientific criticism. The journal accepts for publication not only materials enriching historical science content, but also materials that offer innovative methods and share experience in the use of technologies and modern audio-visual sources. This opens up opportunities for popularizing achieved high scientific results, as a result of good interdisciplinary work and cooperation between authors from different university centers.
