Abstract

The present study is an examination of the transformational processes and mutual influences between media and political discourse in the country, covering a broad time span of 40 years. This includes not only post-totalitarian discourse but also speech practices from before the change. It is important to acknowledge that the parallelism between disparate political and linguistic configurations, systems, and realms represents a fundamental challenge and a notable strength of the research endeavor. This parallelism contributes to the depth and objectivity of studies in this domain.
