Abstract

The study covers 13 fragments of Conon concerning Thrace, the Thracians and their relations with other peoples аnd cultures of South-Eastern Europe. Their interpretation contributes eventually to the elucidation of the ancient history of the Balkan Peninsula. Most of the fragments are subjected for the first time to а critical analysis, followed bу а number of addenda and соrigenda to the Thracian language remains (Suppl. III).
