The studies are accompanied by summaries in Russian and English. Ev. Kalinova examines Bulgaria's cultural policy in the second half of the 1950s towards European capitalist countries. T. Boneva typologizes the rituals with anthropomorphic figures in the Bulgarian traditional custom system. M. Yonov traces the Bulgarian uprisings in the 16th-17th centuries and the European political situation. Y. Kolev analyzes the formation of the Bulgarian intelligentsia after the Liberation of 1878-1900. The archaeological publication by At. Milchev provides data on the water supply and water supply network of the medieval Bulgarian city of Pliska.
